- Earned by acting on Foundations & Ambitions
- Meant to be spent, not hoarded
🛠Spending Effort (Once per Roll)¶

1 Effort (after roll): +1 → Use if you miss by exactly 1

2 Effort (before roll): Advantage → Roll 3d12, keep best 2

3 Effort (after roll): Retro-Advantage → Roll a 3rd die after the fact, keep best 2
🎯 Success Tiers (±8)¶
- Improved Success: DC +8
- Success: Meet or beat DC
- Failure: Miss by 1–7
- Dismal Failure: Miss by 8+
🎂 Birth-Month Doubles (Flavor)¶
On a straight 2d12 roll only: - Double your birth month → result improves by one tier
Rare, fun, and never required.
