Coin

The basics of coin: Most coin is Imperially Minted copper and silver coins. A rule of thumb is that a copper coin is roughly equivalent to $1. So a cheap meal should cost about 6cc (copper coins).
10 copper coins = 1 silver coin 100 silver coins = 1 gold coin (roughly $1000) Gold coins are not something a commoner sees or handles.

There are old Dazhdvog coins out there, as well as gems that have a pretty well known value. Old Dazhdvog copper coins carry the same value as imperial coins, but were minted before the empire had standardized things. Dazhdvog silver coins are twice the weight of imperial coins, and so are worth 20 copper coins. 10mm round cut amethyst, citrine, garnet, and topaz are typically worth 50 copper coins (or 5 sc), and are common enough. Most Dazhdvog can easily identify these, as well as just about any trained merchant.
