House Sekharet - Gm Only

The House of the Pharaoh

House Sekharet does not panic. It recalibrates.

This house assumes the Empire will continue, because it assumes the Pharaoh will continue. Its actions are guided by long-term correction rather than short-term reaction.

How Sekharet Defends Itself

  • Structural Immunity
Sekharet’s power is embedded in infrastructure, logistics, and bureaucratic flow. Attacking it requires dismantling systems the Empire actively depends on.

  • Delayed Consequences
Sekharet rarely responds immediately. When it does act, the response feels impersonal, procedural, and inevitable.

  • Delegated Blame
Sekharet almost never appears to be the aggressor. Others are placed in positions where they must act on Sekharet’s behalf.

Failure States

  1. False Stability
Sekharet misreads a crisis as manageable and allows damage to spread too far before correcting.

  2. Over-Correction
In attempting to stabilize the Empire, Sekharet creates resentment that lingers long after the crisis ends.

Using PCs

PCs working for Sekharet are tools, not confidants. They are sent where the system cannot openly reach. Success is rewarded quietly. Failure is absorbed.

Sekharet never explains why something mattered.
If it mattered, it mattered.
